Jenji agitation: Ex-home minister Lekhak to testify before commission of inquiry today

Kathmandu. Former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is set to testify before the Commission of Inquiry today in connection with the Jenji agitation that took place on September 23 and 24.

He is scheduled to go to the commission for his statement at 12 noon. He will hold a press conference at 2:00 pm from the Nepali Congress parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar.

The commission had written a letter to the then Home Minister Lekhak on Tuesday, asking him to submit his statement by Friday.

After the statement of the writer, the EC will record the statement of the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
