Kathmandu. In the last fiscal year, the reserve fund of the provincial and local governments was negative by Rs 108.99 billion. According to the Financial Comptroller General’s Office, the reserve fund of the province and local governments in the fiscal year 2081÷82 was negative.

Similarly, the cash position of the provincial and local governments during the period was positive by Rs 104.13 billion. According to the Financial Auditor General, the cash and bank reserves stood positive at Rs 188.94 billion.

Financial Comptroller General Shobhakanta Poudel has submitted the integrated financial details of the federal, provincial and local governments for the fiscal year 2081÷82 to Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal at the Ministry of Finance and to the Auditor General at the Office of the Auditor General.
