. Energy Minister Kulman Ghising and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have reached a political agreement. As per the agreement, the RSP will give 10 per cent proportional representation share to Ghising’s faction.

According to the agreement, Balen Shah will field 40 percent of the candidates and Rabi Lamichhane’s faction will field 50 percent of the candidates.TAG_OPEN_p_5 As per the agreement, Ghising will become the vice-chairman of the RSP.

Prior to this, the ‘Ujjyalo Nepal Party’ was formed under the patronage of Kulman Ghising.TAG_OPEN_p_4 As per the agreement, Rabi Lamichhane-led Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has fielded Balen Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, as its candidate for the post of Prime Minister.
