Kathmandu. Mercy Development, an organization involved in the promotion of Christian religious activities in Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-7, Bargachhi, Morang district, has confiscated the documents of 10 foreign nationals and sent them to the Immigration Department for conducting a health camp with foreign doctors who came on tourist visa.

As the foreign nationals who came to the camp on tourist visa without taking necessary permission were involved, their passports have been sent to the Department for necessary action as per the decision of the Foreigners Citizen Monitoring District Committee.

The camp was started with a four-day operation from October 22 and 10 foreign nationals were serving. The camp was prepared by Pastor Pavel Dangal.

Earlier, Pastor Bangdel had been conducting Christian religious classes on the land that was supposed to be used for the purpose of building a hospital at the local level. Nawaraj Shrestha, a grocery entrepreneur of Kanepokhari Bargachhi in Morang, had constructed six small and big buildings on three kattha of land for the construction of the hospital. The program has 10 foreign nationals from Brazil, Canada and the United States. They entered Nepal on October 22 and 23, 2026 and their visas are valid from November 6 to 21. Among the foreign nationals mentioned below, three are Brazilians, two are Canadians and five are American nationals.
