Taplejung. This is the second time snowfall has occurred in Pathivara area. The area had received snowfall for the first time this year on November 20.

According to the Pathivara Area Development Committee, cold has increased with snowfall. The Pathivara area, which lies at an altitude of 3,794 metres above the sea level, used to receive snowfall since November in the past. Rajendra Mahat, an employee of Pathivara Area Development Committee, said that the Pathivara area received snowfall on Saturday evening.

Fibre trusses have been installed on the trekking route for the convenience of the pilgrims despite the Pathivara snowfall. According to the Pathivara Area Development Committee, it will be easier for the pilgrims to reach the Pathibhara Dham even though it rains and snowfall.
