Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has given a written statement to the probe commission formed by the government following the September 7 and 24 incidents.

According to highly-placed sources, Oli has given a written statement to the officials of the commission today. Today, the commission issued a letter for statements. Oli has sent a written reply to the team that reached his residence in Gundu of Bhaktapur with the letter.

The EC will decide on Oli’s position after receiving a written reply. Chairman Oli had been insisting that he would not give statement to the commission by going to Singha Durbar.
