Kathmandu. At least six people died and 10 others were injured in a road accident that took place at Bhimphedi rural municipality-6, Jurikhet along the Bhimphedi-Kulekhani-Kathmandu road section this evening.

Six persons who were injured in the accident of a Hetauda-bound Sumo jeep (Na 1 Ja 1778) died while undergoing treatment, said Pushkar Bogati, Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Makawanpur. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

The injured were rescued and taken to Hetauda Hospital for treatment, said spokesperson Bogati. Three of them are undergoing treatment at the same Hetauda hospital.
