Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been removed from the post.
Oli did not give a written statement to the High Level Inquiry Commission on Sunday. The EC lifted the seat limit immediately after Oli gave a statement to the High Level Inquiry Commission on the Jenji agitation that took place on September 23 and 24.
EC Spokesperson Bigyan Raj Sharma said that the meeting held today has lifted the limit of Oli’s position.
A meeting of the Election Commission held on September 28 had decided to limit Oli’s seat.
