Persa. The District Administration Office, Parsa, has imposed a prohibitory order in Birgunj Metropolitan City from this afternoon.

The prohibitory order has been imposed in Birgunj Metropolitan City in view of possible clash between two communities. There have been protests between the two communities in recent days.

Chief District Officer of Parsa, Bhola Dahal, said that the prohibitory order has been imposed in the Birgunj Metropolitan City from 1:00 pm today until further notice.

The committee has decided not to organize any sort of meeting, assembly, procession and sit-in in the area in the east of Bus Park, Sirsiya Bridge in the west, Power House Chowk in the north and Shankaracharya Gate in the south.

CDO Dahal said the prohibitory order was issued as per Section 6 (3A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028. He said those violating the order would be taken under control and action would be taken as per the law.
