Kathmandu. Four Indians have been sent to jail on the charge of cheating people using eyeglass at the Waldo Casino in Chhaya Center of Thamel.

They have been remanded in custody today for further investigation. Those who have been jailed are Suresh Mahajan (57) from Delhi, Pramod Maurya (39) from Dehradun, Vikram Singh (32) from Uttarakhand and Dinesh Verma (37) from Haryana, India.

Spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai said of the arrested, four have been remanded to judicial custody while two were released on bail of one lakh and one on five lakh bail. Those released on bail are 35-year-old Chija Khadka of Sunsari and 40-year-old Bhawani Pandey of Tokha.

Similarly, the Chinese national who was released after paying five lakh rupees is casino operator Chan Man Chin.
