Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Acting President of the Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka, has urged one and all to move ahead with unity in the party.

Issuing a press release at a time when the closed session of the special general convention is underway at Bhrikutimanda, he urged the party not to carry out any activities that would affect the party unity.

Acting President Khadka stressed the need to be serious about the difficult situation of the country and end the uncomfortable situation in the party. “The country is in a critical situation now. The country’s highest elected body, the House of Representatives, has been dissolved. In the present situation of confusion and uncertainty, there is widespread concern and concern about the country and democracy. The election for the members of the House of Representatives is scheduled for March 4,” the statement reads.

He stressed the need of re-establishing the democratic and constitutional system by bringing the constitution on track through the election. Stating that it was imperative for the Nepali Congress to be united, united and strengthened in the present situation, he pointed out the need for all to maintain unity through mutual coordination as the present situation of unease and confusion has surfaced in the NC.

Acting President Khadka said that the NC has a history of correctly assessing the situation at different times when difficult situations have arisen in the country and provided appropriate outlet under its leadership.
