Kathmandu. The closed session of the special general convention called by Nepali Congress General Secretary duo Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma has been postponed.

The closed session of the special general convention scheduled for January 11 has been postponed till today as discussions on various reports are underway.

Special general convention management secretariat coordinator Manoj Mani Acharya said the closed session will continue from 9:00 am today. He said that the registration process of the general convention delegates would also be continued.

It is stated that discussions are underway in closed session on the reports presented by NC general secretaries duo Thapa and Sharma and election process would be forwarded after policy-level decision.

As of Monday evening, 63 per cent of the delegates registered their names for the special general convention were registered.
