Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The special general convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) organized by the supporters of the special general convention has forwarded the election schedule.

The election committee formed by the Nepali Congress Special General Convention has set the deadline till 9.15 am today for nominating the candidates. Coordinator of the election committee, senior advocate Sitaram KC said that other works of the election would be forwarded immediately after that.

The election will be held for one president, two vice-presidents, two general secretaries, eight joint general secretaries and 121 members. The election committee was formed under the convenorship of senior advocate KC as per the procedure laid down by the special general convention of the party.

Out of the total 4,743 voters in the party’s 14th General Convention, there are currently 4,635 general convention delegates excluding those who died and joined other parties.
