Kathmandu. Gagan Thapa has said that he has tried to explain the development of the political developments and the special general convention but could not do so.

He said that he had discussed with party President Sher Bahadur Deuba this morning and tried to explain the special general convention but could not do so.

Immediately after the action was taken by the establishment faction, Thapa said

addressing the special general convention hall at Bhrikutimandap.

He said that although he has made several efforts to keep the party united, they have not been successful.

“A total of 2,488 general convention delegates exercised their rights to hold the special convention. It is natural for me to take the initiative as a guest and as the general secretary,” Thapa said.
