KCC’s 10th Management Scholars Magazine Launched

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kantipur City College (KCC), affiliated to Purbanchal University, has officially launched the 10th edition of Management Scholars Magazine prepared by the students of BBA faculty at KCC College Hall on Saturday.

Bhawani Rana, former president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), said that the magazine prepared by the students would help in the development of leadership in the coming days.

In the program, Dr. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mahendra Singh said that the magazine has made the students creative and its content will widen the scope of knowledge.

General Secretary of the Management Association of Nepal, Indra Kumar Shrestha and KCC Managing Director Dr. Prahlad Karki wished for the continuity of the magazine.

Speakers at the program said that the magazine has helped the students to apply what they have learned in the classroom.

Prof Ramakrishna Regmi suggested that the magazine should help students build their careers, but should not rely completely on artificial intelligence (AI). He said that AI can weaken human skills, so it should be used wisely.

The magazine’s theme focuses on “Tourism and AI”. The education sector includes the use of AI, business and employment skills. Appreciating the efforts of the students, he said that it should be continued. KCC Principal Kattel said that the college was supporting the development of soft skills of the students and urged the students to continue publishing the magazine. Since 2005, KCC has been conducting BBA programs and is considered a leading institution in BBA studies.
