Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has claimed that the Nepali Congress has returned to its core values, values and ideals.

Issuing a press release today, Thapa urged all the leaders and cadres who participated in the special general convention, agree with or disagree, to exercise patience and be responsible.

Stating that the special general convention was not a matter of controversy, he said the decision was taken by the Election Commission as per the constitution, prevailing laws and party statute.

He has taken the decision of the commission as the common result of a meaningful change in the Congress and sincere efforts for the betterment of the country.
