Rautahat. Rautahat – Former Prime Minister and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal has filed his candidacy for the member of the House of Representatives from Rautahat constituency-1.

Party central member Ram Naresh Mandal proposed the candidacy of leader Nepal while Chandeshwor Raut seconded it, according to his personal secretary Laxman Regmi. In the previous election, former Prime Minister Nepal was elected from the same constituency.

“I have filed my candidacy with a vision to end the problems facing the Nepali people including poverty and unemployment, to make necessary arrangements for the same, to provide employment and skills to the youths and to make country’s economy dynamic,” he said.
