India gifts 61 vehicles to Nepal

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Indian government today handed over 61 vehicles to Nepal for the election purpose.

The Embassy of India has gifted 61 vehicles to the Ministry of Home Affairs amidst a ceremony held at the Ministry of Home Affairs this afternoon.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Anand Kafle, said that 61 vehicles have been brought in the first phase and the remaining vehicles will come gradually. The Indian government had pledged to provide 388 vehicles.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal said that the Ministry has received 61 vehicles today as India had promised to provide 388 vehicles before the elections.

He thanked the Government of India for providing the vehicle in this way. The Home Minister said that the vehicle would help in making the elections peaceful.
