Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast cloudy weather in various parts of the country today as there is some influence of the Westerly wind in the country at present.

On Wednesday, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Weather is likely to be mainly fair in most parts of Tarai.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain in some places of the Sudurpaschim Province and light snowfall in some places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at some places of Lumbini, Karnali, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

Likewise, moderate snowfall along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Similarly, there is the possibility of rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and hail at one or two places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has urged for adopting necessary precaution as the impact of weather change will affect daily life, tourism, health service, air and road transport.
