Kathmandu. InDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, today announced an exclusive safety training program for its driver partners under its “Safer Ride of Your Choice with InDrive”.

With this initiative, Indrive reaffirms its long-standing commitment towards driver empowerment, promotion of road safety and overall well-being of communities. The training session was conducted with an objective to equip InDrive’s driver partners with necessary and practical knowledge on road safety practices, traffic rule compliance, responsible driving, and professional conduct.

This reinforces the role of drivers in creating a safe, reliable and passenger-friendly ride-hailing environment. Prioritizing regular and quality safety training, Indrive wants to ensure its drivers are not only financially but confident, aware and able to tackle real road challenges. A key feature of this initiative is Indrive’s special emphasis on its unique “free choice” model.

This model empowers drivers to make travel decisions independently while working within the platform. By combining safety education with autonomy, InDrive is continuously promoting a sustainable and equitable mobility system where drivers can maintain control of their journeys without compromising on safety or service quality.

The session on road safety and traffic rules was facilitated by representatives of Nepal Traffic Police. They emphasized the importance of collaboration and shared responsibility between platforms, drivers and relevant authorities to ensure safer roads.
