Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The first meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress was presided over by newly elected President Gagan Kumar Thapa. The meeting was held at the party’s central office in BP Smriti Bhawan, BP Nagar, Lalitpur. General Secretary Pradip Poudel presented various proposals in the meeting.

The meeting also unanimously endorsed the decision to nominate party President Gagan Kumar Thapa as the next prime ministerial candidate in the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4, 2082.

The meeting also decided to form a central publicity committee under the convenorship of party spokesperson Devraj Chalise for the upcoming House of Representatives election.
