Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal won the toss and elected to field first in the concluding match of group stage under the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier.
Nepali cricket team captain Indu Verma won the toss and elected to bowl first in the match held at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Scotland will bat first.
Today, both teams are under pressure to win to reach the Super Six. Nepal’s chances of reaching the Super Six will end if they lose to Scotland. Nepal had lost to Thailand by 8 wickets in the first match and lost to the Netherlands by 2 runs in the second match.
In the third match, Zimbabwe defeated Zimbabwe by 6 wickets to keep their chances of reaching the Super Six alive. Nepal’s playing XI: Indu Verma (Captain), Pooja Mahato, Samjhana Khadka, Bindu Rawal, Rubina Chhetri, Kabita Kunwar, Riya Sharma, Manisha Upadhyay, Sita Rana Magar, Roma Thapa and Kabita Joshi.
