A meeting of the executive committee of the association held on Tuesday decided to appoint Tayal to the post of vice-president.
Tayal replaces Ravi Rayavaram. Tayal, who recently took over as the Managing Director of Surya Nepal, will now take on the role of Vice President of Nikkei as well. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the leadership continuity between the two institutions.
Welcoming the appointment, Nikki Chairperson Sunil KC expressed confidence in Tayalal’s ability and said that Nikki has entrusted the responsibility of Vice-President. “Her active involvement with Nikki will give new energy to our future plans and help expand the reach and influence of the association,” KC said.
The Executive Committee and Chairman of Nikki jointly welcomed Tayal as the Vice President and expressed confidence that the Association will play an active role in promoting bilateral trade, economic cooperation and overall relations between Nepal and India during his tenure.
