Kathmandu. Police have arrested Yubaraj Poudel aka Yubaraj Safal. Spokesperson of the District Police Range, Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai said that he was arrested from Kathmandu today.

Police said Poudel was arrested for investigation into the baseless allegations made against the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Attorney General through social media. He was produced before the court today itself and remanded in custody for three days, according to Bhattarai.

Police said that Poudel was arrested on January 8 after the Office of the Attorney General sent a letter to investigate into Poudel and take action against him. An investigation has been initiated against Poudel on the charge of electronic crime.
