Kathmandu. Ncell has renewed its accreditation with the prestigious ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS) and 27701:2019 (PIMS). This renewal reinforces the company’s leadership position in information security and data privacy, setting new benchmarks for customer trust.
Last year, Ncell became the first telecom company in Nepal to get the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) certified. This recognition and its renewal reaffirms Ncell’s commitment towards ensuring information security to its customers.
As per the renewal process, the surveillance audit was carried out at Ncell by appointing an auditor through an agency designated by the ISO. The audit assessed Ncell’s information security and data privacy governance procedures as per ISO standards. These values will remain valid for the next one year.
The renewed standards cover customer data center, customer service, and IT services. This demonstrates that Ncell meets the highest standards in its privacy assurance practices.
