Baglung. The snowfall triggered by rainfall since Tuesday night has completely disrupted the Mid-hill highway.

The road has been obstructed due to heavy snowfall at the border of Baglung and East Rukum districts. Hundreds of passengers have been stranded due to the obstruction of the highway.

Chief of the Area Police Office, Tilak Manandhar, said that long and short route vehicles have come to a standstill due to the obstruction of the highway. There is little possibility of traffic along the road immediately as it has been snowing continuously.

Vehicles en route to Rukum, Jajarkot and Dolpa from Kathmandu have been stranded at Bhalkot Sip of Nisikhola rural municipality-6, said Police Inspector Manandhar.
