Kathmandu. The government has approved the visit of President Ram Chandra Poudel to Japan.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar today gave permission to a delegation led by President Poudel to attend a programme to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Nepal and Japan, according to Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal.

President Poudel is scheduled to attend the programme to be held in Japan from January 1 to 24.

Home Minister Aryal, who is also the government spokesperson, said that the meeting decided to increase the ration scale and the allowance for ration of the Nepal Police daily to be effective from February 14.

The meeting also decided to make public the report submitted by the Committee on restructuring of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited-2082.
