Chitwan. At least 40 people were injured in a bus accident on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section this morning. Three of the injured have already returned home after treatment.

A passenger bus (Lumbini State 02-100 Kha 0460) en route to Kathmandu from Dang lost control and overturned on the road at Ghumune of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 this morning.

Other injured are receiving treatment at different hospitals of the district, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Govinda Puri of the District Police Office. Among the injured, 15 are undergoing treatment at Maula Kalika Hospital Bharatpur, 17 at Old Medical College Bharatpur and five at Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.
