Kathmandu. Secretary of the Development Bankers’ Association Nepal and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Garima Bikas Bank, Madhav Prasad Upadhyay said that the political parties should come up with a manifesto to overcome the country’s despair and give priority to trade.
Suggesting the ‘Economic Agenda in the Party’s Manifesto’ organized by the Association of Economic Journalists-Nepal (NAFIJ) here today, Upadhyay said that the manifesto should be prepared with a plan to produce and export the services and goods consumed by the population of China and India.
“There are 5.80 crore deposit accounts. There may be repetition of this, there should be no activities affecting the depositors of these depositors, it should be everyone’s priority to make the banking sector safe,” Upadhyay said, “The plan to sell its products in India and China should be included in the party’s manifesto.” ’
