Kathmandu. The National Assembly has endorsed three ordinances issued by the interim government targeting the elections scheduled for March 4.

A meeting of the National Assembly on Monday unanimously passed the ordinances. On the occasion, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal tabled the proposal seeking approval of the Ordinance Designed to amend the Voters’ List Act-2073, the Ordinance Designed to Amend the Voters’ List Act-2073, the Ordinance on Election to the Members of the House of Representatives (first amendment) Ordinance-2082 and the Nepal Special Service Act (Second Amendment) Ordinance-2082.

The ordinances were passed unanimously after there was no protest on the proposal presented by Home Minister Aryal. According to the government, these ordinances are important to make the election process easy, systematic and timely conclusion.
