Sun Nepal Life Insurance earns net profit of Rs 28.54 crore

Kathmandu. Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company (LIC) has earned a net profit of Rs 28.54 crore in the second quarter of the current FY.

The profit was 1.1 percent compared to the same period last year. That’s 11 percent more. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 28.22 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company’s net premium stood at Rs 2.26 billion as of mid-January 2018. It was Rs 2.18 billion in the same period last year.

The company’s total income during the period stood at Rs 2.61 billion. It was Rs 2.94 billion in the same period last year. The company’s expenses stood at Rs 2.29 billion. It was Rs 2.65 billion in the same period last year.

The company has a life insurance fund of Rs 11.04 billion. Similarly, the company’s earnings per share is 11. The company has a net worth of Rs 30 and a net worth of Rs 147.28.

The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.03 billion with a premium of Rs 1.30 billion, a catastrophe fund of Rs 23.61 crore and a reserve fund of Rs 54.85 crore.
