Persa. In the first six months of the current fiscal year, 32,331 unassembled motorcycles worth Rs 4.56 billion were imported.

Rs 4.43 billion has been deposited in the state treasury from the import of these vehicles. In the same period of the last fiscal year, 25,857 motorcycles worth Rs 3.38 billion were imported.

According to the Birgunj Customs Office, 4,567 motorcycles worth Rs 45.81 crore were imported in the first six months of the current fiscal year. In the same period last year, 2,192 motorcycles worth Rs 207.6 million were imported.

Likewise, 4,594 electric motorcycles worth Rs 581.8 million were imported in the first six months of the current fiscal year. In the same period of the last fiscal year, 2,218 electric motorcycles worth Rs 30.96 crore were imported.
