Household owners cheated after savers, 8 organizations including Mahabouddha will be confiscated if they do not appear within 7 days.

Kathmandu. Not only savers but also house owners have started cheating cooperatives under the jurisdiction of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

There are a lot of complaints in the metropolis that the cooperative has been living on rent and has not paid the rent on time. Issuing a notice, the metropolis has directed 8 cooperatives to vacate their houses.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: The judicial committee of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to vacate the houses and rooms taken by the cooperatives on January 29.

As per the decision taken in the decision implementation committee meeting held on January 15, the office-bearers of the eight cooperatives (Board of Directors and Account Supervision Committee), employees and members of the organization have been asked to contact the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Department of Law and Human Rights within 7 days.

If the office bearers, employees and members of the cooperatives fail to come into contact within the stipulated time, the houses and rooms taken by the cooperatives will be vacated as per the decision of the judicial committee. “When the house is vacated, the items of the cooperative office will be handed over to the concerned landlord. Later, it is also informed through this notice that there will be no claim or opposition regarding the property and goods of the cooperative.

As per the decision of the committee, the metropolis has decided to run Asha Savings and Credit Cooperative, Nawa Sabal Cooperative and Sandup Cooperative, Unified Savings and Credit Cooperative, Mahabouddha Savings and Credit Cooperative, Great Gangasagar Savings and Credit Cooperative, Suntakhal Savings and Credit Cooperative.
