Kathmandu. Controversial businessman Durga Prasai has been arrested again. According to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, he was taken under control from Chalanakhel area of Lalitpur on Friday morning.

Spokesperson of the Cyber Bureau and Information Officer Superintendent of Police Deepak Raj Awasthi confirmed the arrest of Prasai. Police said further investigation into the case was underway after taking him under control as he was accused of violating the election code of conduct.

Earlier, he was arrested from Pokhara on the charge of making a statement against the Election Commission. But he was later released on bail. Police have resumed investigation after a cybercrime complaint was filed against Prasai. Only a few days ago, he appeared at the police premises and gave a statement.
