Ramechhap. 4 people have died in a bus accident near Manthali, the district headquarters of Ramechhap. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhola Bhatta of Ramechhap informed that 6 people including the bus driver were injured in the accident.

The accident took place when a passenger bus en route to Okhaldhunga from Kathmandu plunged some 50 meters down into the Tamakoshi River at Manthali Municipality-6 in Ramechhap.

According to Bhatta, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Ramechhap, it has been difficult to rescue the passengers as the bus has been submerged in the river. Some of the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Details of the incident are awaited.
