Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) candidate for the House of Representatives election 2082 from West Nawalparasi constituency-1 Binod Chaudhary has released a detailed report card of his three-year term.
After being elected from this constituency in the 2079 BS elections, Chaudhary had made public the progress on each point of the 31-point manifesto including its progress, achievement and status of implementation.
In the context of the dissolution of the House of Representatives following the Zenji movement and the general elections scheduled to be held on March 4, he has made a public assessment of the promises he made three years ago.
Unveiling the report card, Chaudhary said that he was ready to stand accountable in the people’s court, stating that the right of voters to question is the foundation of democracy.
“It’s a voter’s right to ask questions,” he said. I want every voter to ask me whether the work was done according to the commitment letter issued by me in the last election. It is my responsibility to stand in the people’s court and answer each and every one of my commitments. We changed the Congress to establish the right of the people to ask questions. We have also understood that while we are promising to change the country, we have to work in such a way that we can answer the questions of the people. Therefore, I have come up with a reply to each and every point of the 31-point manifesto. ”
According to Chaudhary’s Secretariat, a digital copy of the report card has been made public and a print copy will be available at his secretariat, NC regional office, every municipality office and liaison offices of all 34 wards of the constituency. He urged the voters to study the report and ask questions if they have any queries.
