Kathmandu. The 10th edition of Nepal Pharma Expo 2026 is going to be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on March 12, 20 and 13.
The expo is being held with the theme “Innovation in Pharma: For Health of Tomorrow”.
There will be more than 200 stalls in the expo, which will showcase the latest technology used in pharmaceutical production, lab technology, raw materials, packing manufacturers and machinery. More than 90 percent of the participation in the expo will be from foreign and multinational companies. It will connect the latest technologies in the global market in the field of raw materials, packing materials and new technology to the Nepali market. The remaining 10 percent stalls will showcase the best products of domestic pharmaceutical industry.
President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal, Biplav Adhikari, said, “Today’s medicines have been produced according to the research and development (RnD) done in the past and 100 percent new R&D are being produced today, which will ensure the medicines made in the future.” Our innovative thinking and investment in technology today will ensure the future of a healthy Nepal. Highlighting the importance of the program, Santosh Baral, General Secretary of the Association, said, “Many people still do not know that Nepal can produce medicines of international standard. Through this expo, we want to assure the stakeholders and general public that world class medicines will be produced in Nepal. Entry is free for anyone who wants to learn about the medical field so that everyone can understand the potential and potential of Nepali medicine and know about the quality medicines being produced in Nepal. This time, the association is celebrating the expo as a celebration and is also organizing various pre-events. A total of 16 industries participated in the futsal tournament on January 15 and 19. Continuing the sport, the ‘Chrykshall’ tournament will be organized on February 22 and 22 with the participation of 8 industries. A special training and seminar will be conducted for 100 managers and 100 drug market representatives working in the market on February 18 and 19 for educational and professional development along with sports.
In order to further strengthen the technical aspect, a day before the expo, a special seminar on quality control will be organized by international technicians working in the Nepali pharmaceutical industry on March 10. On the first day of the expo, a grand morning rally will be held at 8 am on March 12.
