Bardghat. Former member of parliament from Nawalparasi (West) Constituency-1 Binod Chaudhary reached the under-construction Trauma Center at Chisapani, Bardaghat Municipality-1 today and took stock of the overall progress of the project.
The slope of the first floor of the two-storey building, which began a year ago, has been scheduled today. Pointing out the importance of the project, Chaudhary directed the concerned construction side to complete the project on time.
The project, which was initiated with the objective of running an integrated hospital with trauma on the premises of Chisapani Hospital, is expected to be completed by October 7.
Speaking on the occasion, Binod Chaudhary said, “This trauma center being constructed in Bardaghat-Chisapani is not just a building, it is the center of hope to save people’s lives.” Those injured in road accidents along the East-West Highway will now get timely treatment. This work is moving ahead with the commitment to strengthen the health infrastructure of the region as promised during the election, and I will personally monitor it to complete it on time. ”
According to Bardaghat Municipality Mayor Shambhu Lal Shrestha, the construction of the Trauma Center will contribute to the health service of the area.
The under-construction trauma center is expected to provide immediate trauma treatment to the victims of road accidents along the Nawalparasi-Butwal section of the East-West Highway as well as provide easy service to the emergency patients at the local level. The project, which was taken forward as a project of pride as per the election promise, has increased enthusiasm and positive expectations among the people of Nawalparasi.
