Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Police have arrested seven prisoners who had escaped from different jails in Kathmandu during the Genji agitation.
A team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu arrested them and made them public today.
The arrestees have been identified as Tenzing Bahadur Tamang, 41, of Uttargaya, Rasuwa, Pritam Gurung, 20, of Dudhpokhari, Lamjung, Babita Tamang, 23, of Punarbas, Kanchanpur, Bikram Nepali, 22, of Thatipokhari, Kavrepalanchowk, Bhuwan Tamang of Dolakha, Bhuwan Tamang of Dolakha, Bhuwan Tamang of Fikkal, Sindhuli and Roshan Sah, Indian national.
All the seven, who are serving sentences in different cases, have been sent to their respective jails, according to the Range.
