Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has issued an affidavit to the people for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives. The affidavit was unveiled from Janakpurdham, the historical cultural city of Nepal.

NC President Gagan Kumar Thapa, Vice-President and Coordinator of Election Mobilization Committee Bishwa Prakash Sharma, Vice-President Pushpa Bhusal, Madhes Province President and senior leaders were present on the occasion.

Organizing a press conference at the party office in Sanepa, the Nepali Congress informed about the points of Vision 10 mentioned in the affidavit. The Nepali Congress has set a target to form a democratic government with a majority through the general elections.

NC Spokesperson Devraj Chalise claimed that the NC presented a commitment letter with the aspiration, action plan and basis for making Nepal a better country in the world through self-realization of responsibility, vision and determination.

Speaking at the press conference, he said that every letter of the affidavit has a clear meaning. According to him, the NC wants the performance evaluation to be done on the basis of the implementation of the plans mentioned in the pledge. The Nepali Congress has put forward a plan from a country that can live with dignity to a Nepal that can move towards prosperity.

The NC is committed to implement the slogan of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Respected Nepali’ not only to show the pledge but also to implement it. “All the Nepali Congress wants is that in the coming days, the general voters and the people will evaluate the performance of the party, all its leaders and cadres on the basis of the implementation of the commitments,” the statement reads. “We never shirk our responsibilities for such and such reasons. ’

The affidavit of the Nepali Congress has summarized the ‘Vision Ten’ in simple terms. In another term, the Congress has described it as the foundation of ‘Congress Two Point Zero’. The Nepali Congress, which made a successful start in the resurgence, is determined to realize the future desired by the people.
