Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Election Commission (EC) has issued the ‘Provisional Voters’ List Procedure 2082′ to systematize the temporary voters’ list and permanent voting process required for the election to the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system.

The EC issued the procedure in exercise of the powers given by Clause 44 of the Voters’ List Act, 2073. As per the working procedure, the EC will publish a notice along with the program to collect the permanent voters’ list. The Work Procedure also allows the Information Commission to publish and broadcast through national level media as per the need.

The list will include the names of employees working in the government, provincial governments, local levels, institutions owned or controlled by the government, army, police, detainees and prisoners, employees and security personnel deputed in election works, chiefs and officials of constitutional bodies.

As per the work procedure issued by the EC, the concerned person should submit an application to the Chief Name Registration Officer with evidence either to include his/her name or to correct the error.
