Kathmandu. ŠKODA has successfully tested the Kaylak on one of Nepal’s most challenging and difficult roads — Manang, Dhorpatan and Tinjure.

Nepali drivers are known for their difficult routes due to steep slopes, bad roads, narrow turns and changing weather. By testing the Kaylak in real geographical conditions, Skoda has said that the SUV is ready to meet the day-to-day challenges of Nepalese roads.

Many of these routes in the high mountains are considered challenging even before you start your journey. Many vehicles struggle to reach their destinations smoothly due to steep slopes, rough surfaces and uncertain road conditions.

At times, drivers may have to turn back in the middle of the road or choose alternative transportation. However, in the test conducted by Skoda Nepal, the Kayalak has been able to overcome difficult climbs in a steady and reliable manner due to strong power delivery and reliable traction, which is not easy for others.

But the challenges of these roads are not only physical but also emotional. As the altitude in Manang increased, each steady climb amidst the calm environment of the mountains gave me confidence. It was a relief to have the engine start smoothly on the cold and secluded roads of Dhorpatan.

Even when the path ahead was blurred in the fog-shrouded Tinjure, the steady control turned hesitation into confidence. These were not just difficult road trips, but also experiences that turned uncertainty into faith.

These tests confirm that Kayalak is a perfect fit for Nepal’s diverse road environment. Built on Skoda’s European engineering foundation, the SUV offers stable handling, strong grip and consistent performance even in sudden changing road conditions. It conveys the message that the Kaylak is not only designed for the city but also for the hills and highways of Nepal.

The torque converter system called “Real Automatic”, especially used in the automatic variants of the Kayalac, is known for its smoothness, durability and reliability. The smooth gear shifting without jerks ensures a comfortable city traffic experience while ensuring steady acceleration and confident performance on highways and steep uphills.

Branded with the tagline “Power for the Peaks”, the Skoda Kayalak stands out as the self-contained automatic SUV for Nepal’s uncertain and challenging roads. With the certified performances in Manang, Dhorpatan and Tinjure, the anticipation and trust of Nepali customers is getting stronger.
