Sadhusharan Yadav of Marchwari-3, Raipur said that lack of roads, fertilizer and irrigation facilities to farmers, lack of well-equipped hospital and lack of physical infrastructure in schools are some of the major problems in Rupandehi constituency-4. “The people’s representatives who won in the past could not carry out much development works. This time, by voting, we will make arrangements for education, health and employment as well as make the candidates victorious for the development of this sector,” he said.

Makhan Lodh, a resident of Parsahawa in Kothimai Rural Municipality-7, said that there is a lot of problem in this area. He stressed on the need to elect candidates who can solve the problem.

Shyam Mohan Yadav of Siso Semara of Marchbari Rural Municipality said that the problem of road is the main problem in the district. “There are potholes on the road, which has led to an increase in road accidents. There are many problems in the school as well. There is no well-equipped hospital. The people’s representatives elected from here should pay special attention to the development of physical infrastructures, education, health, agriculture and employment,” he suggested.

Chandra Shekhar Gupta of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-4 said that the problem of road infrastructure is the main problem in the area. He called for the people’s representatives to pay special attention to the development of education and health sector.

Shreeram Yadav of Marchwari-1 has a similar view. “The candidate who can manage food, irrigation and roads will win this time,” he said. ”

Mohammad Aslam Khan, a resident of Asurina of Sammarimai Rural Municipality-6, said education, health, road and agriculture sectors are the main problems. Menaka Yadav of Marchbari-1 questioned why the candidates who do not work should be elected. He stressed the need for people’s representatives to pay attention to education, roads, agriculture and employment.

There are 116,172 voters including 66,062 male and 50,110 female voters in Rupandehi constituency-4. A total of 22 candidates are contesting in the election to the member of the House of Representatives from Rupandehi constituency-4. Former ministers, former members of the House of Representatives and State Assembly members are in the fray here. Seven independent candidates and 15 political parties filed their candidacies for Rupandehi-4.

In 2079 BS, Sarbendra Nath Shukla of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), Nepal was elected from this constituency. In 2074 BS, Pramod Kumar Yadav of Nepali Congress was elected and in 2070 BS Shukla was elected from Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party. In 2064 BS, Om Prakash Yadav of Madhesi People’s Rights Forum was elected.
