Kathmandu. The right to manage the use of open forum is vested in Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Ward No. It has been decided to recommend to the mayor to give it to the 27th.

A meeting of the thematic committee and revenue committee members under the coordination of Revenue Committee Coordinator and Ward No 32 Chair Nawaraj Parajuli took the decision to this effect.

In the past, the programmes of various organizations and political parties were managed in coordination with the Department of Administration and the Metropolitan Police Force. Currently, the organizers of the program have the right to use and manage the open forum for the conduct of the programs of the organizations and political parties in accordance with certain conditions, restrictions and obligations. It was decided to recommend the mayor to give it to the 27th.

The organizers of the event will be held in Ward No. A deposit of Rs 25,000 has to be deposited in the deposit account of Rs 27. The program will be conducted in two shifts from 8 am to 2 pm and from 2 pm to 8 pm. The fee for the maintenance of the platform and electricity tariff will be Rs 5,000 per shift while conducting the program.

The organizers are not allowed to display any advertisement material other than banners that reflect their identity. Tickets will not be sold and the event will not be held. A third party shall not be permitted to operate the program during the period during which the permission has been obtained to operate the program. Whoever has taken the venue for the program will have to conduct the designated program. It will be the responsibility of the organizers to manage the waste emitted while conducting the program. If additional temporary toilets are needed, the organizers can arrange mobile toilets.

According to KMC, natural grass has been planted in an area of 14,600 square metres in the open space of the forum. The open platform is spread over 23,415 square meters.
