Udaipur. At least 15 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Udayapurgadhi rural municipality-7, Andheri along the Madan Bhandari road in Udayapur district today.

The Okhaldhunga deluxe bus (Ba 2 B, 6257) en route to Gaighat from Katari fell off the road after it lost control and fell off the road, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Niranjan Thapa at the District Police Office. The injured have been identified as Som Maya Pariyar, 60, of Katari municipality-6, Monika Magar, 20, Pabitra Shrestha, 19, Dal Bahadur Tamang, 78, Prem Tamang, 15, Sujan Tamang, 14, of Katari municipality-6 and Anil Chaudhary, 25, of Katari.

Similarly, Rebika Basnet, 21, and Reshma Basnet, 20, of Triyuga municipality-12 and Dibas Tamang, 10, of Udayapurgadhi rural municipality were also injured in the incident. Among the injured, 6 have been taken to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for further treatment while the rest are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, police said.
