Sunsari. Chairman of Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has said that stable development and prosperity could be achieved if good governance and result-oriented working style were adopted in the country.

Addressing an election mass gathering organized by the Main Election Mobilization Committee of the party’s Constituency No. 1 here today, he said the party is going to the election realizing the need to show results through actions rather than speeches.

Saying management of water resources is the major basis for the country’s prosperity, Chair Chair Ngising stressed on the need of keeping river and watershed management in priority. He said that he would pay attention to move ahead by making an integrated plan for irrigation, hydropower, tourism and drinking water as important sectors of development would be added to the water resources management.

“Many parts of the country still don’t have adequate access to energy. There is darkness in some areas. “Our party has come to the election realizing the need of alternative political thinking to take the country towards the bright future by expanding power development and distribution system, ending load-shedding,” he said.

Stating that the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4 was an important opportunity for country change, he said the time has come for the people to elect the right leadership responsibly. Saying development would take momentum if the right person is reached to the right place, Ghising was of the view that competent leadership is needed to take the country from darkness towards light.

Ghising pledged that his party would work for the establishment of social justice, ending discrimination and anomalies, building an efficient society and creating employment opportunities for youths in the country.
