Kathmandu. There is some influence of the Westerly wind in Nepal at present. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather is partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country including Karnali Province at present while the weather is clear in the rest of the areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, some places of the Tarai region will witness foggy weather in the morning today. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of other provinces. The weather will be mainly fair in the Tarai region. Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province, and at one or two places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, there will be smog in some places of the Tarai region tonight. The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces while it will be mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province.

The Division has urged the residents of those areas with the predicted occurrence of fog, fog and snowfall and rain to carry out daily activities including operating vehicles in these areas with caution.
