Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress (NC) is organizing special election meetings at three places today. Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa and Vice-President Bishwa Prakash Sharma are expected to attend the meeting.

NC President Thapa and other office-bearers are scheduled to attend the election rallies in Butwal, Baglung and Kaski of Rupandehi.

According to the party, the meeting will be held in Butwal at 11:00 am. The election rallies will be held in Baglung at 1 pm and in Pokhara at 3 pm.

The leaders will address the gathering. A large number of people from other political parties are also scheduled to join the party in these election meetings.

Earlier, Thapa had addressed election gatherings in Surkhet and Banke. Pushpa Bhusal Gautam was the vice-president of Surkhet while Sharma was in Nawalparasi (West).
