Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the party should not allow extremists to come out of the elections scheduled for March 4.

Thapa said this while addressing an election gathering in Pokhara today.

“There is a danger that the elections to be held after the Jenji movement can nurture two types of extremism,” he said, adding, “One extremism claiming that nothing happened on September 7 and 24 and the extremism that took the same opportunity to burn down Singha Durbar and escape from jail may come tomorrow.” He indicated that such a time should not be allowed to come.

He urged all the leaders and cadres to go to the villages and unite for the election. He expressed the view that the development of the eatery would be developed so that the hills of the family could also take advantage of the tourists visiting Pokhara.

He claimed that this would be possible if the Congress government is formed after the elections.
