Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. As per the exchange rate, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 145.27 and Rs 145.87.

Similarly, the selling rate of Euro 1 was set at Rs 171.47 and Rs 172.18, while the selling rate of UK Pound Sterling was set at Rs 195.82 and Rs 196.63.

The selling rate of 1 Australian dollar has been fixed at 103.27 rupees and 103.70 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 106.25 rupees and 106.69 paise.

Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.32 and the selling rate was Rs 9.36, the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 21.18 and the selling rate was Rs 21.27, the selling rate of Saudi Arabian Riyal 1 was Rs 38.73 and the selling rate was Rs 38.89.

According to the central bank, the selling rate of Thai Dirham 1 is Rs 4.67 and the selling rate is Rs 4.69, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 39.55 and the selling rate is Rs 39.72, the Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 37.33 and the selling rate is Rs 37.49. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 16.05 and Rs 16.12 while the Danish kroner rate has been fixed at Rs 22.95 and Rs 23.04 respectively.

According to NRB, the buying rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is 18.57 rupees and selling rate is 18.64 paise, Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is 475.52 paise and selling rate is 477.48 paise, Bahrain Dinar 1 is 385.29 paise and selling rate is 386.88 rupees. Similarly, the selling rate of Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 160.15 respectively.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate set by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
